The Works of the ONIK-2021-02 constitute of a complete Control System Upgrade (CSU) in Nesjavellir power plant. The existing control system was installed from 1990 – 2004. There have been some upgrades of the originally PLC´s in the meantime but overall, the control system has reached the end of its lifetime.
