The project “Akraneshöfn - Nyr hafnarbakki við Aðalhafnargarð“ is constructing a new quay at Akranes, dredging 94,000 m3, backfill and quarry run of 96,305 m3, electrical cables of approx. 2,500 m and pipes 1,350 m and asphalt surfaces 8,750 m2. The new quay is a 245 meter long steel sheets piles with a concrete cap with mooring bollards, ladders and fenders. The steel sheet piles will be anchored by 79 pieces of tie rods. Akranes Aðalhafnargarður: Steel Sheet Piles and Anchorage Material (Faxaflóahafnir sf (Associated Icelandic Ports))
Faxaflóahafnir sf. (Associated Icelandic Ports), hereinafter named the Client, is calling for tenders for supply of steel sheet piles, anchorage material (waling, tie rods and accessories) and coating system for an extension of an existing quay in Akranes Aðalahafnargarður. The length of the quay is about 245m, the estimated weight of Steel Piles is 870 tons and Anchorage material is about 150 tons.
