The project “Akraneshöfn - Nyr hafnarbakki við Aðalhafnargarð“ is constructing a new quay at Akranes, dredging 94,000 m3, backfill and quarry run of 96,305 m3, electrical cables of approx. 2,500 m and pipes 1,350 m and asphalt surfaces 8,750 m2. The new quay is a 245 meter long steel sheets piles with a concrete cap with mooring bollards, ladders and fenders. The steel sheet piles will be anchored by 79 pieces of tie rods.
