The Port of Hornafjörður hereby invites Contractors to submit Tenders for the project "Dredging in Grynnslin 2026-2028” in Hornafjörður. The project is financed and managed by the Icelandic Road and Coastal Administration, here after IRCA. The dredging area is located on the southeast coast of Iceland. Kleppsbakki extension — Sundahöfn, Reykjavík. Quay and crane rail construction (Associated Icelandic Ports (Faxaports))
The tender involves construction of a new quay with a connection to an existing 1, Kleppsbakki quay in Sundahöfn, Reykjavík. In addition to that is a construction of a new crane rails. Total length of the quay is 500 m. It is divided into 400 m quay with a crane rail for Gantry crane, 70 m extension quay of the existing Kleppsbakki quay and an end closing, about 30 m.
