General information

Ríkiskaup in Iceland invites interested candidates to take part in a pre‐qualification process (PQP) for NLSH – New Landspitali University Hospital Project regarding design, supply and installation of Modular Room Systems (MRS) for special areas in the Main Treatment Building, and the Hospital Laboratory Building, which are new hospital buildings being planned and constructed for Landspítali, The National University Hospital in Reykjavik, Iceland. The Main Treatment Building (MTB) is a total of 70.000 m2 of floor area and the Hospital Laboratory Building (HLB) is a total of 19.000 m2 of floor area. The buildings are a part of Phase one of the NLSH building project, that includes several new buildings, that are and will be constructed at Hringbraut University Hospital Campus in Reykjavík, Iceland in the years ahead.

NLSH in Reykjavik, Iceland, is the owner of this project and the Purchaser in this tender process. Further information on the New Hospital project is provided in Appendix B: Information on the New Hospital Building Project and can also be found on the project website https://en.nlsh.is/

The Modular Room System - MRS requested shall be a complete, modular room system, that creates a well-functional clean rooms and areas that meet the requirements for each area, including EU GMP regulation where applicable. The Purchaser is looking for a flexible quality product, with long-time durability, safety, and stability.

The MRS solutions are planned in 6 different locations/sub-areas in the Main Treatment Building - MTB and 2 locations in the Hospital Laboratory Building - HLB. The MRS solution shall be based on a tested standard modular system product for hospital use.

The areas that have been defined for use of the MRS solutions are the following:
