Stand 10 - Extension of south terminal
Isavia ohf
Isavia is looking to expand the South Terminal to the east to provide additional waiting area. The expansion is planned as a two-storey building is due to be operational from May 2023.
The existing area is heavily overcrowded at peak hours, especially on the non-Schengen level where five gates are served. The queuing for all the gates takes place on a tight hallway and the dedicated waiting area becomes non-existing.
The project is for the construction of an extension to the existing terminal. The requirements including delivering the construction works for the scope described below plus also placing orders for long lead items to ensure the project is delivered by the operational date.
