Programme Management Team for the Keflavik International Airport Major Development Plan

Isavia is about to embark on a substantial development programme at Keflavik International Airport (“KEF”). The “Major Development Plan” (“MDP”) sets out Isavia's ambition for KEF to grow to 25 000 000 passengers per year by 2040 (as part of the KEF Masterplan 2015-2040). Isavia wishes to appoint an integrated, multi-disciplinary Programme Management Team (“PMT”) to act as Isavia's delivery partner in realising key aspects of the MDP. The PMT will act as an independent body from all other contractors delivering the associated core works and services and will work with Isavito manage and oversee the programme throughout its implementation. The length of the PMT's appointment will depend on the programme itself, as it is critical that Isavia is able to work with a single PMT throughout the project. Therefore, Isavia currently anticipates that a contract will be entered into for an initial term of up to 8 years,subject to extension on a pre-agreed basis until the MDP is complete.

Please note that a “request to participate” for the purposes of this notice (in particular, Section IV.2.2) is by completion and return of the pre-qualification questionnaire by the stated deadline. Prospective bidders should note that Isavia reserves the right to cancel or vary this procurement process at any point and will not be liable for any costs or expenses incurred by interested parties in responding to this opportunity. Isavia also reserves the right not to award a contract to the lowest priced bidder or indeed to award any contract at all as a result of this procurement. Isavia may also change the basis, procedures and/or timescales set out or referred to within the procurement documents. In relation to Section II.2.10), variant bids may be accepted by Isavia. However, this will only apply in circumstances where the form and content of the variant has been approved by Isavia in advance.
