Geothermal Drilling Works, Tender no. ONVK-2017-01

The Works Consists of drilling up to fifteen (15) high temperature geothermal and injection wells up to 3500 m deep in the geothermal areas Nesjavellir and Hellisheiði in the south part of Iceland in the years 2017-2020. The wells arey either vertical with 8 1/2 or 12 1/4 production section or directionally drilled with 8 1/2 or 12 1/4 production section. The work consist of the following: LOT 1 — Consists of drilling seven (7) geothermal and injection wells including all completion work as specified in the Tender documents no. ONVK-2017-01. The work shall be fully completed 31. December 2018. LOT 2 (Optional for the Employer) — Consists of drilling thee (3) geothermal and injection wells including all completion work as specified in the Tender documents no. ONVK-2017-01. The work shall be fully completed 31. December 2019.
Five additional wells, optional to both parties, subject to success from LOT 1 and 2, might be drilled in 2019/2020, under same Specifacation and Contract terms.
