Although the project is not financed by the world bank the bidding documents are based on the World Bank´s: standard bidding documents for procurement of plant design, supply, and installation, with appropriate adjustments. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the World Bank´s single-stage bidding procedure.

7. Summary description of works: the employer asks for bids for 2 power stations, each estimated to be approx. 10MW. The scope of the contractor’s works includes design, manufacturing, supply, procurement, erection, installing, tests and commissioning of 2 geothermal power stations as a turn key project. As the location of the power plants is not decided yet the price for power stations shall be given separately for power station equipment FOB at harbour selected by the bidder on one hand, and installation, testing and commissioning on other hand.

However, the company will retain a short-list of manufacturers for future reference, that qualify according to criteria described in the bidding documents, as the company may require similar power stations in future projects.
