The purpose of the tender is to receive a tender for consultancy services for a planned reception and disposal station for CO2 in Straumsvík, and the project is called CODA Terminal. The project is based on technology developed by Carbfix ohf. in Hellisheidi and aims to dissolve CO2 in water and pump it into rock layers where it turns into rocks in less than two years.
