o Shore power equipment (SPE) which include circuit breakers, cabinets, control, measuring equipment, frequency converters and power transformer to provide the required output voltage and frequency. The SPE shall be supplied in a container or room to provide access barrier for equipment.
o Quay side cabinets with the right amount of recessed 350 A receptacles.
o Cable management system, a cable reel which controls the tension of cables going from the pier to the ship.
o Site work for the LVSC system. This part comprises installation of supplied cables, test, and startup of the LVSC systems at site. It also includes supply and installation of the raised floor inside the Low voltage shore connection room (R101).
o Transportation of equipment to Faxagarður Pier in Reykjavík. Field testing, commissioning, and training are also included in the

Stutt lýsing:

The supply shall comprise design, manufacture, workshop assembly, testing, and seaworthy packing of the LVSC systems, along with spare parts and other associated equipment. All materials and documentation necessary for a complete LVSC must be included, even though not explicitly stated in the Technical Specification. The supply shall also comprise all installation, test, and startup of the LVSC’s at site.

The powerhouse on pier has been built and the contractor has dedicated space for the SPE equipment and cable management system. The SPE equipment dedicated space is similar as for two 20 feet containers. See drawing 011.E01.5.001

The LVSC A and B must be offered as four separate parts of each total LVSC system. As listed in Tender letter 4.2:

Part one is the shore power equipment (SPE) which include circuit breakers, cabinets, control, measuring equipment, frequency converters and power transformer to provide the required output voltage and frequency. The SPE shall be supplied in a container or room to provide access barrier for equipment.

Part two is the quay side cabinets with the right amount of recessed 350 A receptacles.

Part three is the cable management system, a cable reel which controls the tension of cables going from the pier to the ship.

Part four is site work for the LVSC system. This part comprises installation of supplied cables, test, and startup of the LVSC systems at site. It also includes supply and installation of the raised floor inside the Low voltage shore connection room (R101).

This shore power connection system will be divided in two stages:

A: LVSC 2022 is to be provided, installed and ready to use in autumn 2022.

B: LVSC 2023 is to be provided, installed and ready to use in summer of 2023.

The system shall comply to IEC PAS 80005-3 standard to supply the ship with electrical power from shore.
