Reykjavik Procurement Office

The procurement office of the city of Reykjavík, on behalf of the city of Reyjavík and the road administration (Vegagerðin), requests participants in a tender for the renewal of MP traffic controllers, i.e. traffic controllers, detectors, signal heads and push buttons, according to further explanation in Chapter 2 – Product Description. MP traffic controllers have been in use in the capital area for several decades and are out of date, i.e. the producer doesn‘t support them any longer. It‘s almost impossible to provide replacement parts and the technical knowledge required for the controllers won‘t be available in the near future. The replacement of the MP traffic controllers is therefore an urgent safety issue. Offer should entail everything that is included with the product as it is defined in these tender documents.
