This Invitation to Tender is for Part 1, 2, 3 and 4 for the Landspitali Hospital Laundry services. The Laundry must be suitable for and support the requirements for hygiene and disinfection of hospital linen, where the overall operation must support the environmental strategy of Landspitali and quality requirements.

The technical requirements for all Parts, are: The machines in Part 1 (CBTW+P) shall operate in an automatic, synchronized and continuous operation, the size of the CBTW shall be of 18 compartments, 60 kg each. The machine in Part 2 (BWE) shall be at least 270 kg. The dryer in Part 3, shall be at least 120 kg, and shall be loaded with a suction tube. The conveyor belt, shall be easy to operate with and have an up hanging device, a rail for laundry bags for easy emptying of them.

The purpose of the information provided in this Invitation to Tender is to set out the criteria that will govern the selection of any successful Tender. It should give the Tenderer a clear and informative idea of what the Purchaser is requesting regarding the system and thus increase the likelihood of a successful contract for both the Purchaser and the prospective Seller.
