Rikiskaup on behalf of the Purchaser invites Tenders for an Active Archive data storage system for the long-term storage of digital files as further specified in this Invitation to Tender.
This Invitation to Tender is for an Active Archive data storage system for the Department of Health- and Information Technology in Landspitali. This system is intended to store both digital healthcare files as well as other digital files with POSIX compliant network based file access. The System must be highly available within a datacenter since most clinical workflows rely on the data stored in the Active Archive. Ability to stretch the Active Archive between 2 data centres for increased availability as well as ability to automatically move data from the Active Archive to a cloud storage vendor would be of benefit.

The System Tendered SHALL be the Manufacturer's newest line of product, comprising the latest technology. All parts of The System SHALL be new and not used or refurbished. Other applicable technical specifications and information requested, including a reference list and access to user and service support, SHALL be included in the Tender.
