This Invitation to Tender is for an Active Archive data storage system for the Department of Health- and Information Technology in Landspitali. This system is intended to store both digital healthcare files as well as other digital files with POSIX compliant network based file access. The System must be highly available within a data-center since most clinical work-flows rely on the data stored in the Active Archive. Ability to stretch the Active Archive between 2 data centers for increased availability as well as ability to automatically move data from the Active Archive to a cloud storage vendor would be of benefit.
