Rikiskaup on behalf of Marine and Freshwater Research Institute, MFRI requests tenders regarding Multibeam Echo Sounder (MBES) system and a Sub Bottom Profiler (SBP) echo sounder with acquisition equipment for precise bathymetry and sub bottom layers. The equipment is to be installed on the Icelandic research vessel Árni Friðriksson RE200. The vessel is a multi purpose reasearch vessel, 70 m long o.a. and 14 m in breadth mld. with a 6.8 m draft.
The MBES is intended as a replacement for a mid- and deep water system (Kongsberg EM300) onboard the vessel. The SBP is a new installation.

The MBES is intended as a replacement for a mid- and deep water system (Kongsberg EM300) onboard the vessel. The SBP is a new installation.
The tender SHALL include:
— A MBES system with acquisition equipment from one supplier with proven competence in selling and supporting such system.
— A SBP system with acquisition equipment from one supplier with proven competence in selling and supporting such system.
— A vessel motion and heading sensor(s) with the necessary output to be integrated with the acquisition of the MBES and SBP data.
— Workstations for running the systems.
— Installation and commissioning with equipment training for 4 people
within 10 days of delivery and installation of the equipment. Training SHALL be in Iceland.
— Technical assistance and repair service for 5 years from date of
installation. This is evaluated according to the time it takes to get technical
assistance and the time it takes to get repair services for malfunctioning
equipment.
— Prices for software updates (drivers, calibration software etc.) when new
version are available.
— The tenders SHALL be DAP (excluding VAT), according to Incoterms 2010.
