20427. New facilities for Landspitali Hospital in Reykjavik, Laboratory Facilities — Pre-qualification for architectural and final technical Design

New facilities for Landspitali Hospital in Reykjavik requests applications to participate in the final design, architectural and technical of the new hospital Laboratory Facilities building. This is an open pre-qualification process advertised in the European Economic Area (EEA), the Tender procedure will be closed for other than those Tenderers participating in the pre-qualification and meet all its requirements.
There is no limit on the number of participants. Thus, all applicants who have fulfilled the requirements of the pre-qualification specification and thus passed the preselection are invited to participate in a closed tender for designing the Laboratory Facilities building. The total amount will weigh 100 % in the closed Tender procedure.
The purchaser will not pay for participating in this pre-qualification.
All specification in this pre-qualification, tender and the project as a whole, shall be in Icelandic except for technical specifications and the necessary communication with suppliers, certification etc. which may be in English. However, questions and career descriptions of foreign consultants may be in English.
An advanced notice is hereby made that the closed Tender procedure for the final design will only go forth if the project is guaranteed funding in the national budget. The applications to participate in the closed tender shall be valid for 6 months after its conclusion. Participation in the pre-qualification gives participants the opportunity to participate in a closed tender for the project, but does not oblige them to do so. This Pre-qualification is no obligation for the purchaser, whether and when the project will be tendered, and in what stages.
The pre-qualification specifications will be available on Rikiskaup‘s website www.rikiskaup.is from Monday 11.10.2016.
The pre-qualification applications shall be submitted to Rikiskaup, Borgartun 7c, 105 Reykjavik, Iceland, no later than Thursday 13 December before 11:00 where and when they will be opened.
