Single crystal X-ray Diffractometer (SCXD) for the Science Institute, University of Iceland

Ríkiskaup, on behalf of Raunvísindastofnun Háskólans (The Science Institute, University of Iceland), hereby invite tenders for one new single crystal X-ray diffractometer (SCXD), which will be used to index microcrystalline materials. The instrument shall be a dual source X-ray such as sealed Molybdenum source for small molecules and micro focus Cu source for diffracting and protein molecules. The instrument shall cover all applications in organic and inorganic chemistry, metal-organic and solid state chemistry as well as mineralogy and pharmacy. In structural biology it shall cover the whole range of applications from easy, quick and simple check of the protein crystal quality to the inhouse collection of complete, high-quality data sets and solution. The instrument shall be installed by end of November 2015. The delivery time shall be no more than 14 weeks after acceptance of tender.
