20221 Gill-net survey 2016
Rikiskaup (Central Public Procurement)
Rikiskaup on behalf of the Marine Research Institute calls for tender for The Gill-net survey of spawning cod in Icelandic waters (GNS). The survey provides information on the age, condition and abundance of spawning cod in the main spawning areas in Icelandic waters. 1 of the main objectives of the survey is to improve the estimation of the spawning stock biomass by obtaining an abundance index for the spawning stock of cod in the main spawning areas. The project needs 6 licensed gill-netter boats, 110 GRT or bigger and crew with knowledge on the projects circumstances. Tenderers need to have licence and fish quota in Iceland Exclusive Economic Zone. Further information is in tender documents.
