20116. Streets, utilities, building lot and patient hotel of the New National Hospital
Government Construction Contracting Agency (FSR), on behalf of Nyr Landspitali. (NLSH) requests tenders for the project ‘New Hospital — streets, utilities, building lot and patient hotel’.
The work is on the northern lot of the Hospital by Hringbraut, between the Maternity and Gynaecology Department, the K-building and Baronstigur. The work is divided into two parts of the project subject to the following:
Work GVL — streets, utilities and building lot
The main elements of this work phase are:
— Facilities Creation
— Demolition of existing surface streets, walkways, parking and green areas along with excavation works for the patient hotel
— All work on the pipes in the area
— Connecting passage and bearing wall
— New building of streets, parking and walkways, with all building lot finalisation
Work SJH — Patient hospital construction
Patient hotel is part of the first phase of development of the New National Hospital (NLSH). It will rise north of the C-wing of the Maternity and Gynaecology Department. The hotel will connect to the children's hospital / the Maternity and Gynaecology Department through connecting passage in the basement. In the building are 75 hotel rooms.
The building has a basement and four floors — 4 258 m² (gross) and 14 780 m³ (gross) including the basement and connecting passages belonging to the hotel.
The main elements of this work phase are:
— Excavation portion
— Casting
— Insulation, stone facing and roof finishing
— Windows and window finishing
— Drinking water pipe system, water vapour system, sewerage and ventilation complex
— Electrical installation and low voltage installation
— Furnishing of employment facilities and hotel rooms
— Furnishing of dining room, lounges and offices
— Lifts (public and service lifts)
All work must be completed June 1, 2017. Stage delivery is 1.6.2016 and 15.3.2017.
The project has been prepared according to the methodology of Building Information Modelling — BIM and eco-design. The objective is to have the building certified as Sustainable structures according to the international environmental system BREEAM.
There will be a seminar for Tenderers, during the Tendering phase, on the BIM requirements at the time set out in section 0.1.2 Tender Form-Tender Summary in the Tendering documents.
The Tender documents will be for sale for 3 500 ISK at the Icelandic Central Public Procurement, Borgartun 7C, 105 Reykjavik as of Wednesday 9.9.2015.
The Tenders will be opened at the location of the Icelandic Central Public Procurement, Tuesday 20.10.2015 at 11:00 in the presence of tenderers who wish.
