15649 X-Ray Security Inspection Systems (3-4), together with services, for Isavia ohf

The State Trading Centre, on behalf of Isavia ohf. reg. no.550210-0370, requests tenders for 3 X-ray Security Inspection System (XRSIS) for security inspection purposes of items and objects such as carryon items, passenger hold luggage, airfreight, mail, and with service contract for the XRSIS. All systems shall be delivered, and set up by the contractor on each site, up and running before 15.1.2015.
— 1 XRSIS for security inspection of passenger hold luggage, airfreight and mail shall be delivered at Reykjavik Airport. Item A, on tender sheet.
— 1 XRSIS for security inspection of passenger cabin luggage and carryon items shall be delivered at Akureyri airport. Item B, on tender sheet.
— 1 XRSIS for security inspection of passenger hold luggage, airfreight and mail shall be delivered at Akureyri Airport. Item A, on tender sheet.
— Service contract for the XRSIS. Item C on tender sheet.
As an option, with purchase decision within the warranty period and to be delivered within 12 months, latest in beginning of 2018, if the buyer wants to exploit that right:
— 1 XRSIS intended for security inspection of passenger cabin luggage and carryon items at Reykjavik airport. Item F, on tender sheet.
— The tenderer shall offer as an option a “Threat image protection” (TIP) software. Item G, on tender sheet.
— The tenderer shall offer as an option TIP network for the XRSIS. Item H.
In general the system tendered shall comprise the latest technology in the field of XRSIS. It shall offer safe, ergonomic and flexibility in operation, high-performance and high uptime. It shall also offer quality imaging and upgradeability in hardware and software (e.g. Threat image protection (T.I.P)).
The system shall fulfil any and all national and EU regulations and requirements on Aviation Security, such as: EU Regulation 300/2008 and 185/2010, including later changes and additional requirements.
