The State Trading Centre on behalf of the Purchaser invites tenders for a 3 year framework contract, with the option for a 1 year extension (max 4 years) for on demand delivery of:
1. Implantable Cardiac Pacemakers (ICPs);
2. Implantable Cardioverter — Defibrillators (ICDs);
3. Pacing Leads;
4. Defibrillation Leads.
As further specified in this Invitation to Tender.
This Invitation to Tender is for Pacemakers, ICDs and Leads for the clinical service in Landspitali. The Pacemakers, ICDs and Leads must be suitable for and support the medical service and the clinical environment in Landspitali. The Implantable Cardiac Pacemakers (ICPs) and the Implantable Cardioverter-Defibrillators (ICDs) are intended for use for patients with special heart problems for which they are deemed beneficial at the Dpt. of Cardiology at Landspitali — University Hospital and to be implanted at the Dpt. Of Cardiology at Landspitali and the Regional Hospital in Akureyri (SAk). Therefore the clinical and technical requirements for the Pacemakers, ICDs and Leads are to provide all the modern treatment techniques available.
A framework contract will be made with 1 main supplier, for up to 70 % of the total annual use of ICDs, Pacemakers and Leads, for on demand delivery to the purchaser. A framework contract will be made with 2 or 3 suppliers for the remaining items or up to 30 % of total combined annual supply of Pacemakers, ICDs and Leads for on demand delivery to the purchaser.
