The State Trading Centre on behalf of the Purchaser invites tenders for a three (3) year framework contract for the delivery of:
Ultrasound Imaging System for General Imaging at the Dept. of Radiology as further specified in this Invitation to Tender.
The tender specifications concern a 3-year framework contract for supply of Ultrasound Imaging Systems for general examinations for the Department of Radiology at Landspitali – University Hospital. The purchase of one (1) Ultrasound System is guaranteed with the framework contract, but the purchase of one (1) additional systems is planned within the contract period of 3 years.
The system is intended for daily use for various general imaging studies such as general and paediatric abdominal ultrasound examinations, neonatal head ultrasound examinations, musculoskeletal ultrasound examinations, small parts and soft tissue ultrasound examinations, peripheral vascular ultrasound examinations and interventional ultrasound examinations at the Dept. of Radiology at Landspítali – University Hospital in Reykjavik, Iceland.
The purpose of the information provided in this Invitation to Tender is to set out the criteria that will govern the selection of any successful tender. It should give the Tenderer a clear and informative idea of what the Purchaser is requesting regarding the system and thus increase the likelihood of a successful contract for both the Purchaser and the prospective Seller.
The total planned budget for the project is up to approx. ISK 18 million (excl. VAT) for each system, including installation, implementation, training and all other costs, but excluding VAT.
In this tender the Purchaser is looking for the most economically advantageous tender.
