15467 Framework contract; camers for RUV ohf

The State Trading Centre, on behalf of Ríkisútvarpið ohf. (RUV), the Icelandic National Broadcasting Service, asks for tenders for procurement of abt.15 – 20 HD Camera Channels, which will be attached to a mixture of small and big lenses, for OB and Studio production, with purchases within a framework contract to 2 years with permission to extend the contract up to 4 years.
RUV is planning for upgrade of its production facilities to High Definition (HD). The total upgrade is planned to be done within the next 2 – 3 years.
The first stage in the purchase within this framework contract will be to equip the newly purchased OB vehicle with 8 – 10 cameras.
Tenderer shall offer equipment in all categories from the same brand. Contract will be placed only with one party.
Buyer reserves the right to order the equipment items at any point of time, in any number, within the framework contract period and there is no obligation to purchase until individual orders are placed.

A complaint must be lodged in writing with the Public Procurement Complaints Commission within 20 days from the date that the complainant knew, or should have known, of the decision, action or failure to act which he considers a violation of his rights. A complaint claiming ineffectiveness of the contract must be lodged with the Public Procurement Complaints Commission within 30 days from the same time limit. A claim for ineffectiveness of the contract can though not be lodged when six months have expired from the contract award. Further informations regarding time limits are in article 94 of the Icelandi Public Procurement Act. The complainant shall pay a complaints charge amounting to ISK 150,000 for each complaint.
