15352 Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting Trucks (four + eight as option) for Isavia ohf

The STC, on behalf of Isavia ohf., reg. no.550210-0370, requests tenders for four new Aircraft Rescue and Fire Fighting (ARFF) trucks and eight as options, to be delivered as follows:
a. Two trucks supplied with 10 000 litre Water tank and 600 litre Foam tank, with roof turrets with capacity of 4 000 lm and bumper turrets with capacity of 1 500 lm. for delivery one before end of 2013 and one before 15.2.2014
b. Two trucks supplied with 6 000 litre water tank and 400 litre Foam tank, with roof turrets with capacity of 3 000 lm and bumper turrets with capacity of 1 500 lm. for delivery one before end of 2013 and one before 15.2.2014
c. As an option, at the choice of the contracting authority, to be delivered within the next 6 years:
— Two (2) trucks supplied with 10 000 litre water tank and 600 litre Foam tank, with roof turrets with capacity of 4 000 lm and bumper turrets with capacity of 1 500 lm.,
— One (1) Truck supplied with 6 000 litre water tank and 400 litre Foam tank, with roof turrets with capacity of 3 000 lm and bumper turrets with capacity of 1 500 lm.,
— Five (5) trucks supplied with 3 000 litre water tank and 200 litre Foam tank, with roof turrets with capacity of 2 000 lm and bumper turrets with capacity of 750 lm.
Be with a four stroke diesel engines, generating ample power to provide acceleration time 0-80 km/h. in 35 sec. or less for trucks with 10 000 litre or 6 000 litre water tank and 0-80 km/h in 25 sec. or less for trucks with 3 000 litre water tank.
The ARRF trucks shall fulfil all requirements of ICAO- and EU standards as to Icelandic laws and regulations as per ref. in chapter 0.2
