All offered products in this tender must be CE marked and shall fulfil any and all EC - directives, safety and technical norms and standards mandatory for the products in question.
The foldable IOL must be sterile, non-pyrogenic and individually packed in a sterile container and enclosed in sterile protective wrapping with lot number, manufacturing date, expiration date and other relevant information.
The quantity given in the specifications, unless otherwise stated, is the estimated quantity used by Landspitali - University Hospital, and F.S.A. Sjúkrahúsið á Akureyri.
It must be emphasized that the figures describing the usage are approximations. The actual purchase can be more or less.
1. Foldable Intraocular lenses.
Yearly quantity: ca. 2 000 pieces.
2. Viscoelastic product (sodium hyaluronate).
Yearly quantity: ca. 2 400 units of 1,0 ml.
The viscoelastic product must be sterile non-pyrogenic solution packed in disposable syringe, well tolerated in the eye.
All products shall be in unopened, undamaged packages.
Offered products must be bar-coded according to the EAN barcode system.
